Ana Brooks
Ana Brooks is originally from Utah and began her dance training with Ballet West Academy. She went on to obtain a BFA in Dance from Brigham Young University. With their touring company, Theatre Ballet, she was able to perform such works as Balanchine’s Serenade and Walpurgisnacht, Paul Taylor’s Airs, and Jose Limon’s Choreographic Offering to name a few of her favorites.
Her professional career has taken her to stages across the US with professional companies like Ballet Fantastique, Instaballet, Ballethnic, and Ballets with a Twist. She is currently based in Brooklyn and enjoys taking on freelance dancing projects and choreographing her own original works. In addition to dancing, Ana is also a circus artist and specializes in en pointe bottle walking and cyr wheel. Her circus work (including aerial) has been seen in Ballet Fantastique’s Robin Hood, Savage Wonder’s Black Curtain Society, and in many other venues and stages across NY. Her mission as an artist is to discover, to burn brighter, to connect with one another and to feel.
