Israel Harris
Israel Harris is a Latino-American originating from Guatemala, and raised in Bellevue, WA. He is a Manhattan-based artist with specialties in dance performance, choreography, video editing, and social media and marketing practices. He recently graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Dance, a Minor in Psychology, and a Minor in Hebrew and Judaic Studies. He’s had the pleasure of performing feature roles in works by Wayne McGregor and Ronald K. Brown, as well as dancing in works by Lar Lubovitch, Ori Flomin, and Sean Curran. He has worked closely with Sidra Bell in assisting her creative with the Second Avenue Dance Company in 2019. He has also received extensive commercial training, currently represented by The Movement Talent Agency in New York City. Along with his position at Neville Dance Theater, Israel works closely with the July Third Foundation, a nonprofit organization working to advance reparations for Black Americans. Israel is excited to bring his artistic voice to a group of talented artists.
