Nicole DiGiovanni
Nicole DiGiovanni began her dance training at an early age in her home city of Philadelphia, PA at Philadelphia Dance Theatre. During her years there she had opportunities to perform in works choreographed by members of Complexions Contemporary Ballet, the Joffrey Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet and more. Beyond her years at Philadelphia Dance Theatre, Nicole continued her dance training in New York City at Broadway Dance Center. Here she graduated from the Professional Semester Program where she worked with and performed for industry professionals. Upon completion of this program, Nicole went on to receive a BA in Dance with a minor in Theatre from The University of Alabama. During her college years Nicole was able to perform principal and corps roles in Alabama Repertory Dance Theatre including the Snow Queen in The Nutcracker, Columbine of the Harlequinade pas de deux, a little swan in Swan Lake, Cupid in Don Quixote and more. Nicole also choreographed two dance films as well as two staged works during her college career. Upon graduating, Nicole joined Ballet Met in Columbus, Ohio as a trainee where she had the opportunity to rehearse and perform roles such as a Wili in Giselle, as well as a toe hop girl in George Balanchine’s Walpurgisnacht. Nicole has spent her summers training with Ballet Met, Ballet Austin, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and Rioult Dance NYC. Nicole began her own photography business Nicole Maria Creative, in 2020 and in addition to her dancing, is now photographing dancers, portraits, couples, and families.
