Agustin Gomes

Agustin Gomes, a native from Brazil, began his professional dance training as a contemporary soloist at the Instituto Marco de Dança in his hometown, São José dos Campos. There he competed and placed in many dance competitions including the XXVIII International Dance Seminar of Brasilia, where he was prized 1st Place Overall and received full scholarships to train with the prestigious Alonzo King LINES Ballet and Lamondance. During his time at Lamondance, Gomes worked with esteemed choreographers Kirsten Wicklund, Noam Gagnon, Alysa Pires and Davi Rodrigues. Now based in New York City he joined Neville Dance Theatre in 2021 as an artist in their Chance-to-Dance program, and in 2022 became a company member.
