IDENTITIES
(2023)

 Set to music by all female composers, the ballet explores spectrums of identity in three distinct sections: I/ME, YOU/THEY, and WE/US while inviting viewers to witness the artist'sown unique, and ever evolving, self-perceptions and core selves.

THE PURSUIT
(2023)

 A galvanic portrayal of mankind's collective drive for forward progress. The work draws inspiration from the performer's own personal aspirations to creating an abstract narrative of how we chase our dreams. Performed to music by Valentina Magaletti.

Beethoven Suite
A Stylistic Journey Through the History of Ballet
(2021)

 ​A theatrical journey along the stylistic progression of ballet's historical development in an original, multi-section tableau that is as educational as it is entertaining.

Venture into the ethereal realm of Romantic era sylphs. Witness the technical virtuosity of a Petipa inspired Grand Pas de Deux & corps de ballet. Experience the extreme musicality and speed of Balanchine Neoclassicism. And feel the liberation of Contemporary dance, all in one unique work.  
Set to the enchanting and energetic music of Beethoven.

NDT brings composer Terry Riley’s 1963 musical masterpiece ‘In C’ to life. Comprised of 53 unique musical and coinciding choreographic phrases, comprised of both set and improvisational components, each and every performance is a unique experience. Performed to Bang On a Can All-Star’s 2011 recording or live ensemble option.

ECLIPSE
(2018)

An abstract work "dominated by a sense of classicism" with "unfussy sequencing" that is “intelligently uncluttered”, as described by Jerry Hochman of CriticDance. It is inspired and set to the solo piano work by Helen Jane Long of the same name. Choreography by Brenda Neville.

WATCH CLIP
An immersive and colorful world of movement, video and image projections Elements harnesses the moods and energies of the four elements Air, Fire, Water and Earth in four sections - Zephyr, Embers, Raindrops and Geodes. Includes music by Four Tet, Chopin, Christopher O’Riley, Max Richter, Penguin Station Cafe and Nicholas Hooper.

Blessed
​(2016)

Inspired by the melodic musical phrasings of two cellos, Blessed is a tender and transcendent piece that transports us into an ethereal realm. Set to the music of Karl Jenkin’s haunting work Benedictus as arranged and performed by 2Cellos.

Exposed
​(2016)

Exposed is a larger-than-life feast of towering shadow images and movement that explodes with a sense of magic, intrigue, beauty and energy. Creatively incorporating hand-held lights, the piece reflects our modern lives and the need to establish boundaries and maintain a sense of privacy in an online, interconnected world in which we habitually share every detail of ourselves.
20 minutes / 9 dancers.  Music – Todd Reynolds, Hauschka & Hildur Gunadottir and Matmos.  
Requires full white back wall or cyc capable of reflecting full-length silhouettes of the performers via front hand-held lighting required.

Banter
(2014)

​Good natured exchanges of playful flirtations mix with moments of longing, ardor and vexation in this wide-ranging work centering around human relationships and ways in which we connect.

Set your synapses firing with this high energy, multi media work that looks at the miraculous systems of the human body.  Street styles mingle with contemporary dance in this pumping productions that takes views on an escapade into the two hemispheres of the brain, through the circulatory system, along the rapid relays of the nervous system and to witness the amazing feats of our muscles. 
​20 minutes / 8-9 dancers.  Music –  Phaelah, Swedish House Mafia, Thelem and Professor Trance. 
Requires video projection capabilities with a wide throw.

Terra Nova - New Earth
​(2010)

The power of mother earth comes to vivid life through dance and projected images. Set to music by Philip Glass and contemporary artists Imogen Heap and James Blackshaw, this immersive work depicts the phenomena of tectonic plate shifts, lava flows and the planet’s amazing ability for biological regeneration.
18 minutes / 6-8 dancers.  Music –  Imogen Heap, Philip Glass, James Blackshaw and various seismic and nature sounds. Costumes by Angela Freidman. Requires marley flooring and video projection capabilities with a wide throw.

Zephyr

Heads-or-Tails
(2009)

A duet for two women, this frolicking mix of dance styles – in particular ballet, tango and Irish soft-shoe – draws inspiration from the many vibrant hand-held folk dances from around the world.  Sharp, synchronized movements and a constant interchanging of the dancers makes this piece a driving, sleek and playful piece.

A contemporary dance work capturing the rhythmical ebb & flow of the life cycles of nocturnal animals. With a dynamic and increasing energetic build up, this piece reflects on animalistic prowess, the intense awareness and trepidation required when exploring ones surroundings, the ruthless fervor of maintaining ones territory, and the everlasting fight for survival.

The Nutcracker (2007)

World dance returns to this multi-media, modernized holiday tale complete with updated characters and libretti.  Set in present day New York, thugs battle police officers, Clara falls in love with a Cadet, and Drosselmeyer brings world dance and presents of cell phones and wands to an eclectic group of guests.  Complete with authentic ethnic danced including Argentine Tango, Irish Step Dance, Capoiera, Flamenco, Filipino, Middle Eastern and Russian, it is a unique and thoroughly entertaining production for audiences of all ages.

90 minutes / 15-20 dancers plus 8-15 community children.  Music - Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky

Memento Muerto - A Days of the Dead Dance Narrative (2006)

An original Halloween ballet bringing to life the rich and vibrant Mexican Day of the Dead traditions.  This story about love, family, community togetherness and the importance of remembering one’s ancestors is depicted through scenes and dances including the Ofrendas (Offerings), La Llorona (weeping women), midnight vigils, Los Calaveras (the skeletons), La Muerta (Lady Death) and the reunions of the living with lost loved ones, this is a one-of-a kind, moving and education ballet like no other.  Utilizes ballet, modern, Mexican folkloric, flamenco, Argentine Tango, Middles Eastern, Russian and Filipino dance.

80 minutes / 15-18 dancers plus community children.  Music – Peter Gabriel & traditional Mexican
