Beethoven Suite
A Stylistic Journey Through the History of Ballet
(World Premiere 2021)
Take a theatrical journey along the stylistic progression of ballet's historical development in an all new, four section work by four vibrant choreographers.
Venture into the ethereal realm of Romantic era sylphs, witness the technical virtuosity of Petipa's Grand Pas de Deux & corps de ballet, experience the extreme musicality and speed of Balanchine Neoclassicism, and feel the freedom of Contemporary dance, all in one unique work, the World Premiere of Neville Dance Theatre's "Beethoven Suite".
Set to the enchanting and energetic music of Beethoven and performed by a versatile and captivating cast of accomplished dancers, this multi-section tableau is as educational as it is entertaining.
Four eclectic artists deliver up a choreographic cart of period piece entrees:
- Brenda Neville, Artistic Director of Neville Dance Theater
- Fredrick Davis*, former dancer with Dance Theatre of Harlem
- Christina Ghiardi*, School of American Ballet alumni graduate and Nevada Ballet Theatre company dancer
- Nadia Vostrikov*, formerly with Boston Ballet II and recurring character of the film series Flesh & Bone

The Nutcracker (2007)World dance returns to this multi-media, modernized holiday tale complete with updated characters and libretti. Set in present day New York, thugs battle police officers, Clara falls in love with a Cadet, and Drosselmeyer brings world dance and presents of cell phones and wands to an eclectic group of guests. Complete with authentic ethnic danced including Argentine Tango, Irish Step Dance, Capoiera, Flamenco, Filipino, Middle Eastern and Russian, it is a unique and thoroughly entertaining production for audiences of all ages.

Memento Muerto - A Days of the Dead Dance Narrative (2006)An original Halloween ballet bringing to life the rich and vibrant Mexican Day of the Dead traditions. This story about love, family, community togetherness and the importance of remembering one’s ancestors is depicted through scenes and dances including the Ofrendas (Offerings), La Llorona (weeping women), midnight vigils, Los Calaveras (the skeletons), La Muerta (Lady Death) and the reunions of the living with lost loved ones, this is a one-of-a kind, moving and education ballet like no other. Utilizes ballet, modern, Mexican folkloric, flamenco, Argentine Tango, Middles Eastern, Russian and Filipino dance.
