Lauren Settembrino
Lauren Settembrino (she/her) is a New York-based movement artist. She began her dance journey in central New Jersey and went on to earn her BFA in Dance from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she graduated cum laude and was named a University Honors Scholar. Her additional training includes programs at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and RUBBERBANDance Group.
Lauren has had the pleasure of performing works by Crystal Pite, Stefanie Batten Bland, Ori Flomin, Nanako Kitagawa, Elizabeth Coker, Giada Matteini, and more. She has found herself on the stages of BAM, New York City Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the Ailey Citigroup Theater, and has toured throughout the East Coast and Midwest. Lauren joined Neville Dance Theatre in 2017 and was named principal in 2022. She is also a member of Angie Moon Dance Theatre, alongside freelance dance and choreography projects.
